The following are a small example of the many testimonies from the parents, carers and residents who regularly attend at Moving the Goalposts:
When I came down to see what was going on I noticed the boys who were in the park with the coaches were the ones who were causing all the bother in our area. The night before they tried to set fire to the local sports centre.
I didn’t know if I wanted to let my daughter stay but after watching what was happening I couldn’t believe that these boys were no bother at all. It was the first time I had seen them in a good light. Trust me when I say that every night these same boys cause havoc in the community.
Moving the Goalposts doesn’t come to our area as often as it should. I would love them to be here every week. Long may it continue. Anne (Parent)
My son has been attending Moving the Goalposts for 5 years now.
He loves it and is getting to an age where he needs good role models in his life. I am happy he comes here as he gets on well with the coaches and actually listens to them and respect comes both ways. I know he is safe.
It’s as if he is a different boy and goes down early to help the coaches set up.
I am glad when this is in the area because it brightens up the week for the whole family and brings a feel good factor to the area. I for one wish it was here more often. Lana (Parent)
